On the Red Carpet
You know what I haven’t done recently? Blogged. My apologies are getting old so I am just going to skip right over them.
I also have no covered Oscar fashion yet, I know right, what am I thinking?
Well… now is a good a time as any. So here we go.
I have to say that usually there are some Oscar dresses that blow me away. I sit glued to the television wishing I could just pull them right out. This year, that did not really happen. There may have been one or two I wanted to own, but I could live without.
Let’s go through it.
Best Dressed:
Tina Fey
Carolina Herrera chose to dress Tina fey exclusively fr the oscars and it worked! The dress is not the most unique amazing thing ever but it it fits Fey perfectly. Not only looks mazing but it is her style. I would picture her wearing that.
Stacy Keibler
I really didn’t want to include her. Why you ask, oh because I hate her. What gal doesn’t? We all want Clooney and by default want her out of the picture. But she looks flawless. This Marchesa dress looks like it was made for her. I wish someone else was wearing it though.
Michelle Williams
This Louis Vuitton dress is just adorable. She looks so classy and elegant but not stuffy or old. It’s just so cute. Great job Williams!
Shailene Woodley
I have to start off by saying that I do not like her. After watching some Secret Life of an American Teenager, I will never take her seriously. But, this Valentino dress was my favorite. It is beautiful, I do think it may be a little too mature for her but it is lovely and I want it.
Worst Dressed:
Berenice Bejo
Elie Saab no no no no no. I think this is uh… well the color is hideous. It washes her out and it ages her. This was a no no Bejo.
Melissa McCarthy
First I have to say that I love her. I think she is great . But this Marina Rinaldi dress was awful. Not only is it ugly but it does not flatter her. She really loved it, I don’t know why.
JLO
She dresses so awesomely on Idol and can’t seem to pull it together here. This Zuhair Murad dress is what I would call old JLO, like what Jenny from the block would wear. Her ass looked HUGE and not in a good JLO way. Very bad.
And this concludes my oscar fashion coverage. I wish I could go through every dress but who has that kind of time?
